Dream Hack ’24 – Melbourne STA Holiday Program

Dream Hack is an international eSports and gaming festival geared towards everyone from pros to newbies! You can look forward to their streaming studio and meeting some of your favourite twitch streamers and their performance based cosplay contest. 

This is for you if….

This convention will run from April 25th to April 29th 2024 and the event will take place at Melbourne & Olympic Parks in the CBD.

Our Dream Hack STA is designed to foster social relationships, concurrently fostering personal strengths and instilling valuable career and social skills: 

• Community – Connect with fellow CREW to establish a fresh network of industry experts within the streaming space.  
• Career – Acquire career-oriented skills specific to streaming and explore various entry points in this domain.  
• Capacity Building – Develop independence by adhering to our pre-planned schedule, cultivate career oriented skills by attending panels, and refine social skills for comprehensive personal growth.  

At Dream Hack:  

Streaming Studio 

Dream Hack’s streaming studio is geared towards providing direction for those who want to stream. At Dream Hack, you will be given the opportunity to try out streaming, or to hone your streaming skills if you are already experienced in this space. 

The Creator Lab 

Dream Hack’s Creator Lab is a social, free-form space for creatives in the gaming and streaming spaces to mingle, share ideas, and gain valuable insights into the technical skills needed to find success in streaming. You’ll be given your own work station, and our Crank coaches will accompany any crew wanting to try this out! 

Meet and Greets 

Excited to meet some of your favourite streamers? Or, are you looking for a new channel to start viewing? Either way, Dream Hack will have a range of guests both domestic and international, all of whom are excited to meet as many new faces in the field as possible. 

Live Podcasts 

Live podcasting is a new addition to the Dream Hack roster! Come along and view some of your favourite personalities discuss an exciting range of topics, some technical, and others comedic. 

Panels 

Dream Hack’s panels will largely be geared towards providing insight into the mult-faceted industry that is streaming. At Crank, we are excited to foster our Crew’s passion, though we also recognise that the cultivation of technical skill is just as important. These panels will provide some of the foundational knowledge needed to advance your streaming skills.
