CRANK stands for No Barriers – No Barriers to achieving study, career and social participation goals through a shared connection and interest with gaming.

We are Australia’s leading skill and capacity-building NDIS coaching service, built around a love and community of gaming.

Our NDIS coaching experiences offer highly effective ways to achieve your goals:

All our coaching programs are personalised around your existing passions. Our CREW have diverse interests, ages and abilities, but we’re all connected through a love of gaming, which we use to knock over the barriers you can face in life.

Our Founder

Damian Anderson is the founder and CEO of CRANK

Damian is a renowned Australian government services and education entrepreneur and social impact innovator. Damian has more than 25 years of experience growing businesses, innovating with government programs and improving education and disability employment services.

Damian has worked with some of Australia’s most recognisable business, government groups, and NFP brands including: Hydro Tasmania, RedCross, Engineers Australia, Department of Agriculture, ACCC, Queensland Health and The Federal Group. 

Damian holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts as well as a Masters of Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Swinburne and is the former deputy chair of the Australian Marketing Institute.

The CRANK community come together over their love of gaming, building new friendships and developing new skills and capabilities. Our CREW – with diverse backgrounds, ages and abilities – are excited and motivated to overcome barriers and build the life and future they deserve.

Our COACHES

Just like our CREW, our COACHES are a diverse group of gamers with advanced skills and experience in gaming and career pathways such as: game development, digital media, cybersecurity, IT and much more. They’re here to help our CREW develop the skills and confidence to achieve work, social and independent living goals.

Remote, Hybrid or at HQ

All of CRANK’s Coaching Programs can be done online or at our HQ in central Melbourne, or a mix of both. At our HQ, we also provide a free communal lunch along with the chance to spend time with our COACHES and other CREW – and make use of our top-line gaming equipment!

CRANK’s purpose is to reinvent how people with diverse abilities and backgrounds connect through gaming to overcome barriers and attain a career and life they deserve.

Our innovative model uses the natural love of gaming and technology that our CREW and COACHES have to build meaningful new friendships and develop transferable skills and capabilities that can transform lives. 

Registered NDIS and SLES Provider

CRANK is proud to be a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) provider in Melbourne. In delivering these services to NDIS participants, we operate under strict quality controls, with a requirement to meet the NDIS Practice Standards in relation to our business processes and the employment of our coaches.
