Dungeons & Dragons STA Holiday Program

Dungeons and Dragons (DnD) is a Role-playing game wherein the players explore fantastical realms and begin an adventure. This NDIS Short Term Accommodation (STA) program is sure to be a great long weekend for tabletop lovers. 

This is for you if….

• Want to build expand your DnD gaming community  
• You love character creation, storytelling, exploring dungeons and finding loot.  

When and where

This STA will run from the 10th of May to the 13th of May and we will be staying in a big house close by to Melbourne CBD.

Dungeons and Dragons is the oldest and most popular tabletop roleplaying game, and has an audience of millions globally. For newcomers, see why DnD is so universally loved by its fans, and for experienced gamers come and test yourself in our custom Crank dungeon! 

Character Creation Workshop 

Do you have a character that you’ve been burning to try out? Come along and bounce your ideas off of a group of like-minded gamers, all eager to try out their ideas for new adventurers! 

Dungeon Master 101 

Are you interested in running your own Dungeons and Dragons campaign, but don’t know where to start? During this retreat we will hold a seminar on how to write compelling stories, how to be flexible with your group of players and how to make the rules of DnD work for you! 

World-Building Session 

During this session, we will discuss what types of worlds we enjoy creating and how we can optimise these worlds to better fill the purposes of our story. You may enjoy Faerun, where the main story takes place, or instead you are an inhabitant of the Astral Plane. Either way, our goal is to help you make these worlds work for your story! 

Sub-Sessions and One-Shots 

There will be a myriad of shorter sessions geared towards providing a cool and concise DnD experience. One session you may be tasked with retrieving a clutch of Leviathan eggs, another you may be battling against the corrupt Litch who has an iron grip on the town. No-matter the situation though, you will find these short sessions compelling and fun! 

The Larger Story… 

Do not be fooled adventurer. There is a miasma that has befallen this STA, and it is your task to root it out. There will be a larger campaign that takes place over the course of this STA, wherein friend may become foe and the Dungeon Master may not be who they seem…
