CRANK is a registered provider and a specialised community and capacity-building coaching service for NDIS participants with autism and psychosocial disabilities. We offer weekly, day and group coaching programs that fit into the following approved supports list:

What CRANK Is Not

We ensure that our services align with NDIS funding guidelines and do not invoice for services that are excluded from NDIS funding. CRANK does not provide: Gaming therapy services, Life and wellness coaching services, Career coaching services, Education and training services, Tutoring services, Home-schooling services, School refusal programs, Employment programs for employers and Holiday provision services.

Short Term Accommodation / STA / Respite

CRANK offers professional Short Term Accommodation programs designed to foster community connection, enhance independence, and promote social development for participants. These programs also provide respite for families and carers. Our Short Term Accommodation services adhere to the NDIS reasonable and necessary criteria, ensuring they meet the unique needs of each participant’s disability, support goal achievement, and encourage community participation. 

Participation in community, social and civic activities

CRANK supports participants to take part in community, social, cultural and civic activities. This includes supporting participants during relevant activities and working with participants to develop their ability to partake in these activities.

Development of daily care and life skills

CRANK supports participants by providing training and development activities that increase ability to live as independently as possible. This includes increasing the participant’s ability to independently shop, manage finances, travel and use public transport, engage in social activities and improve relationship and social skills.

Assistance to access and maintain employment or higher education

CRANK supports participants to successfully prepare for, find or keep employment in the open labour market (including self-employment and micro-enterprise) or the supported labour market. This included employment preparation complementary to that delivered while at school and when leaving school, assistance for a participant to transition to employment and further education and training.

Specialised supported employment

CRANK supports participants with assistance to prepare for, find and retain a job in the participant’s employment setting of choice. CRANK also offers SLES funded careers and employment programs.

Coordinating or managing life stages and transitions

CRANK supports participants to manage life transitions including transition from or to new educational settings or employment settings.

Assistance with travel or transport arrangements

CRANK supports participants by providing transport assistance to participants that cannot travel or use public transport independently. This includes transport for the purposes of participants undertaking community-based activities, transport for the purposes of participants attending school or other educational facilities and travel training to build a participant’s confidence and skills to use public transport safely and independently.
