Jeshta Rao

Hey, I’m Jeshta (Jay) ! I’m a cybersecurity professional with experience as an engineer at Bosch, an ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor certification, and a Master of Cybersecurity from RMIT University that I’m finishing now. I love turning complex security ideas into simple, practical skills.
Originally from Mysore and now based in Melbourne, I’m always curious and keen to learn something new, whether that’s a new technology, a new sport, or a new mountain trail.

I’m certified to audit a whole company’s security, but I’ve never been able to say no to “one quick game.” Cricket, badminton, table tennis, pickleball, bowling: if there’s a bat, racquet, or ball nearby, count me in!

Getting to go on a NASA trip to the USA! I spent 3 days at the space centre in Huntsville, Alabama, and built my very own model rocket there. I also explored Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, Georgia, Hollywood, and Universal Studios. I came back with plenty of stories and a lifelong love of space.
