This annual event celebrates Anime, Art, Pop Culture, Cosplay and Idols in Gaming and Entertainment. KaiCon’s main feature is the Artist Alley, showcasing talented and unique fandom inspired artwork as well as exhibitors and small businesses. There are also Cosplay Tournaments with prizes and trophies, anime screening and more!
This STA will run from the 8th to the 9th of February. With KaiCon taking place on the 8th and 9th at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Our STA Holiday Program is designed to improve your social skills and develop your involvement with like-minded members of your favourite communities. This is a chance to meet and interact with YOUR people in a safe environment built around the Love for Anime and Pop Culture.
This event is a collection of Artists stalls, makers and small businesses that create their own products to sell – there’s truly something for everyone!
Cosplay is not only encouraged at KaiCon, it is celebrated! Cosplay being an essential part of the culture for anime experience, cosplay allows fans to showcase their creativity and show homage to their favourite characters. KaiCon will have a wide variety of Cosplay events and supports, including tournaments, parades, repair stations, changing rooms and much more.
KaiCon offers a range of experiences and attractions for all gaming enthusiasts. From Video Games, Arcade Games, Board Games, DND Sessions and more!
As KaiCon is originally based in Western Australia, they are partnered with the Japanese Animation Fans of Western Australia (JAFWA). This community is dedicated to bringing Japanese Animation to Australia for over 20 years! They meet every Saturday and to live and online Anime screening with watch together and connect! KaiCon’s partnership with JAFWA curates a welcoming and enjoyable experience to chill out and unwind and indulge in anime with your community!
