School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES)

Our SLES program is for school leavers having trouble with social disconnection and disorientation in post-school life, who have SLES funding with their NDIS plan. 

Making the move from school to the workforce can be overwhelming and cause a lot of anxiety. Our dedicated coaching programs will help you figure out how to connect your interests with job opportunities while building your confidence and job-ready skills.

For every school leaver, the path to further work or study is different. That’s why this program is completely personalised around what you love. 

We see your natural passions as a strength, and work with you to open up possibilities for how this could translate into other parts of your life, including further study and work. Whether it’s e-sports, gaming, IT, entertainment or any of our established career pathways – we can help you build friendships, develop skills and overcome barriers. 

We also take a strong focus on important foundational skills such as communication, time management, healthy living and navigating the worlds of jobs and higher education as part of your SLES funding in your NDIS plan.

All our 1:1 and group sessions can be done online from home or at our HQ in central Melbourne, or a mix of both.

At our HQ we also provide a free communal lunch and the chance to spend time with our COACHES and other CREW – or make use of our e-sports level gaming equipment.

CRANK – No Barriers, is Australia’s only NDIS and SLES provider helping people take their next step after school by leaning into their natural passions and strengths.

Our community has diverse interests, ages and abilities, who all share a love of gaming. Together, we build genuine friendships and connections while knocking down barriers you can face in life.
